Marcie Berg

Marcie grew up near Des Moines, IA and has been working in Theatre since she was a teenager, starting as an IATSE stagehand and dresser with her father and brother. Marcie went on to receive her bachelor's degree in theatre arts from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. After graduating, she moved to the Twin Cities and has lived here for over ten years. Marcie has worked as an arts administrator at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Park Square Theatre, and the American Swedish Institute. She is also a freelance director and theatre artist and has directed at Lakeshore Players Theatre, The Phipps Center for the Arts, Ashland Productions, Southwest High School, and Champln Park High School, among others and truly enjoys inspiring young artists. Marcie lives in Anoka, MN with her husband, two children and Siberian Husky mix.
